The scene opens on a moonlit forest, seen from the scale of insects. Darkness obscures the vegetation, until multicolored lights fall upon the stage, bouncing and swirling around each other. The lights grow and burst like fireworks, revealing giant flowers and a flying Blue Fairy. She uses a golden wand to play an oversized tulip like a drum, in time with the music.

Shadows encroach upon the flowers and Blue Fairy. She reappears on the ground, elegantly striding past a puddle. The rainbow lights flutter over the water in perfect harmony. A green orb separates from the group, illuminating the Green Fairy as she uses her magic to make a giant rose bloom. One by one, the lights explode. A spectrum of fairies pirouette around each other, floating effortlessly above the puddle.

The dance troupe disappears. At the top of the stage, orange and pink lights give way to their respective fairies, sitting atop dewy leaves. They use their wands to draw dueling constellations, flora and fauna which battle in the night sky. Ultimately, their champions create a blast of stardust, sparks falling to the stage, stopping just before they reach the audience
